Join us for the 5th Annual Kite Festival in La Perla, a vibrant community art project led by artist Chemi Rosado Seijo in collaboration with La Perla residents.
This festival will take place on Saturday, September 7, 2024, at the La Perla Basketball Court, Bowl Area, and Plaza de Güaypavo from 10 AM to 2 PM, with a traditional kite competition and closing ceremony at 3 PM.
The event highlights the rich tradition of kite flying in La Perla, dating back to the early 20th century, and features workshops, cultural celebrations, and a collective spirit that uplifts the community.
