Description
Pleneros del Barrio presents a series of ten workshops on the rich tradition of Plena, covering its history, instruments, playing techniques, dance, and singing.
These workshops will be held at the Centro Comunal y Cultural del Barrio San Antón in Ponce.
As part of the “Special Presenter Initiatives Program,” these sessions are sponsored by Mid Atlantic Arts, the National Endowment for the Arts, Patria y Cultura Inc., and the Centro Comunal y Cultural del Barrio San Antón de Ponce.
